Tasting Australia: A Taste of Something Different to celebrate the 41st Clare Valley Gourmet Festival 2025

This May, South Australia is full of ‘Grape’ events!

We uncorked the massive month of May on Friday, 2 May at the Tasting Australia 2025 (2 to 11 May) opening night with A Taste of Something a Little Different at Adelaide Town Hall — and it was nothing short of WINE-derful!

Sipping our way through wines from ten Clare Valley winemakers, paired with native-inspired canapés from Pauletts Wines’ Bush DeVine Restaurant. The evening was celebrated with speeches from the Honourable Clare Scriven MLC, Minister for Primary Industries, Regional Development and Forestry, and The Honourable Zoe Bettison MP, Minister for Tourism— raising a toast to creativity, connection, and community that defines South Australia’s regional food and wine scene.

A perfect pre-vine to what’s to come — the 41st Clare Valley Gourmet Week returns from 16 to 25 May 2025, as Australia’s longest-running wine and food festival. And this year? It’s grape-er than ever, with plenty of events and fresh experiences on offer.
